Arts Council of Northern Ireland (ACNI)

The Mission of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland is to develop the arts in Northern Ireland so that as many people as possible can enjoy as many forms of art as possible to as high a standard as possible, and to develop and improve the knowledge, appreciation and practice of the arts; to increase public access to and participation in the arts; to advise the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL) and other government departments, district councils and other bodies, on matters relating to the arts.
