Architects Registration Board (ARB)
The Architects Registration Board (ARB) was established by statute in 1997 to regulate the architects' profession. As an independent body, its aim is to protect consumers and safeguard the reputation of architects by: maintaining an accurate register of all those entitled to use the term "architect"; maintaining and improving standards for education and practice; taking action if we think somebody should not be on the Register; and operating a fair and effective complaints handling service.
