Furniture History Society
The Society is an international organisation concerned with the study of furniture and furnishings on a world wide basis. Since its foundation in 1964 its interests have extended beyond furniture to interior decoration and planning and to the relevant aspects of the history of architecture, textiles, metalwork, etc. The Society publishes a regular journal and a newsletter, and various occasional publications.
