British Library Document Supply Centre (BLDSC)

The largest supplier of copies of documents in the world, BLDSC supplies libraries and individuals with photocopies from its collection of journals, books, conference proceedings, theses and reports; it also lends originals to registered rganisations. It currently dispatches nearly 4 million documents each year and satisfies over 90% of enquiries either from its own collection or from back-up libraries. Documents can be supplied by post, courier, fax or Ariel.
