How to use

Each lecture is available in three different formats, for use in different ways.

Web pages

Each lecture is presented as a series of web pages, which you can read at your own pace. They are intended to be used by individuals engaged in private study.

Printer-friendly version

This contains the same material as the web pages, but presented in Adobe Acrobat format (a PDF file). If you need to read the lecture away from a computer then use this version to print out the entire lecture in one go. You will need Adobe Reader to access it, but this is free to download from Adobe.

Download version

This version contains the same material as the other versions of the lecture, but presented as a series of slides with accompanying notes. It is intended for lecturers and others who will present the lecture to others rather than using it for their own education. It is in Microsoft PowerPoint format, and so requires Microsoft PowerPoint to read; a free PowerPoint reader is available to download from Microsoft.
